Namaz Ki Ahmiyat

Book Name:Namaz Ki Ahmiyat

Dear Islamic brothers! Abandoning the prayers earns the displeasure of Allah, leads to Hell, and removes blessings from your family and wealth. Allah Almighty commands us to be diligent in our prayers, stating:

Translation from Kanz al-ꜤIrfān: Be punctual in all your prayers and especially the middle prayer [Ar]; and stand for Allah submissively.[1]

The importance of the prayer can also be understood from the supplication of Prophet Ibrahim عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم. The Quran states:

Translation from Kanz ul Irfan: 'O my Lord,! Make me an establisher of the prayer and my progeny [too]. O Lord! Accept my supplication.[2]

Remember! The first thing we will be questioned about on the Day of Judgement is the prayer, as mentioned in Hadith:

“On the Day of Judgement, a person will be accounted concerning the prayer first.”

ꜤAllāmah ꜤAbd al-Raˈūf al-Munāwī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه states regarding this Hadith, “Indeed, prayer is a sign of faith and it is the foundation of worship.”[3]
