for them. It is they who are truly believers; for them are ranks with their Lord, and forgiveness and sustenance of honour.[1]

Verse 12 of Surah Al Māˈidah states:

وَ قَالَ اللّٰہُ  اِنِّیْ مَعَکُمْ ؕ لَئِنْ اَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلٰوۃَ وَ اٰتَیْتُمُ الزَّکٰوۃَ  وَ اٰمَنْتُمْ بِرُسُلِیْ وَ عَزَّرْتُمُوْہُمْ وَ اَقْرَضْتُمُ اللّٰہَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا لَّاُکَفِّرَنَّ عَنْکُمْ سَیِّاٰتِکُمْ وَ لَاُدْخِلَنَّکُمْ جَنّٰتٍ تَجْرِیْ مِنْ تَحْتِہَا الْاَنْهٰرُۚ-

Translation from Kanz al-ꜤIrfān: And Allah said, “Indeed, I am with you. If you establish the prayer, pay zakat, believe in My Messengers and honour them, and lend Allah a good loan [be charitable]; then indeed, I will most definitely erase your sins, and most certainly place you in gardens beneath which rivers flow.[2]  

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ!Allah Almighty has given glad tidings of forgiveness and Paradise for those who pray, and the noble Aḥādīth also encourage us to pray. When the time of prayer is upon us, if we leave our worldly tasks and pray with the congregation in the masjid with utmost humility, we will receive a multitude of blessings in this world and the Hereafter. The prayer will also request for salvation and forgiveness for us on the Day of Judgement.

Forgiveness for the one who prays with humility and focus

The final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Allah Almighty made the five prayers obligatory. If anyone performs ablution for them well, offers them at the prescribed times, and perfectly observes their bowing and submissiveness in them, it is the guarantee of Allah Almighty that He will pardon him.
