humiliation on the Day of Judgement. Gather your strength, do not sleep. Wake up and devote yourself to worship.

After saying this to herself, she would rise and continue offering prayers throughout the night. Once she completed fajr salah, she would address herself again: "O my soul, congratulations to you for enduring the hardships of the past night. But remember, this day might be your last. Brace yourself and continue striving in acts of worship."

She would then continue worshipping Allah. Whenever sleep overcame her, she would walk around the house, telling herself:

RābiꜤah, is this sleep worth it? What pleasure can you find in it? Leave it aside and save your rest for the grave, where you will sleep for a long time. Today, you may feel deprived of sleep, but in the nights to come, you will sleep peacefully. Gather your strength and strive to please Allah.

She spent fifty years of her life in this manner. She neither slept on a bed nor rested her head on a pillow until she passed away.[1]

Dear Islamic brothers! If we also desire success in both this world and the Hereafter, we must develop the habit of self-accountability and contemplation. Just as a businessman becomes successful only when he plans correctly, similarly one who desires success in the Hereafter must regularly evaluate his actions.

A businessman conducts daily, monthly, and yearly evaluations of his business, reflecting on areas for improvement, rectifying shortcomings, and eliminating obstacles to profitability. Without such scrutiny, not only would he fail to achieve success, but he may even face significant
