1. The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Wear shoes as much as possible, for as long as a person wears shoes, it is as though he is riding (i.e. he tires less).”[1]
2. “Before wearing shoes, shake them so that any insects or pebbles are removed.”
3. The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated, “When one of you wears his shoes, he should start with the right side, and when he removes them, he should start with the left side. This is so that the right foot is first when wearing (them) and the last when removing (them).”[2]
The remaining sunan and etiquettes of wearing shoes will be mentioned in the study circles. Please do participate in them to find out more!
