*    A seeker of knowledge should endure hardships on the path of learning with patience.[2]

*    The more pious a student is, the more beneficial his knowledge will be.[3]

*    A student should always carry books with him, so he can utilize any free time for reading and learning.[4]

Supplication for an increase in knowledge

As per the schedule of Dawat-e-Islami’s weekly Sunnah-inspired gathering, we will now learn a supplication. This week, we will learn the supplication for an increase in knowledge:

رَّبِّ  زِدۡنِیۡ  عِلۡمًا )۱۱۴(

O my Lord! Increase my knowledge.[5]-[6]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Method of collective accountability (72 Pious Deeds)

The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said, “Pondering ˹over the Hereafter˺ for a moment is better than 60 years of worship.”[7]
