Kissing the hand of a deceased wife
Question: What do the scholars of Islam say regarding the following matter: can a husband kiss the hand of his deceased wife?
According to Islamic law, the nikāḥ is immediately terminated when the wife dies. Therefore, in this scenario, the wife becomes a stranger to him, so it is impermissible for him to touch her without a barrier in between. Hence, it is impermissible for him to kiss her hand, etc. However, it is permissible for the husband to look at her face, shoulder her bier, lower her into the grave, etc. The general public believes these latter matters to be impermissible for the husband, but this belief is incorrect and has no basis in Islamic law.
Keep in mind that the previous ruling applies to husbands. With regards to a wife, it is permissible for her to kiss her husband without a barrier, and she can wash his body because the death of a husband does not immediately nullify the nikāḥ. In fact, the nikāḥ will remain intact from one perspective for the duration of the woman’s observation of her Ꜥiddah. If a husband gave an irrevocable divorce before death, the woman cannot bathe or kiss the man because an irrevocable divorce terminates the nikāḥ immediately.

Ruling regarding the liquid that comes out of the breasts during pregnancy
Question: What do the scholars of Islam say regarding the following. A woman is in the final month of pregnancy and sometimes her breasts release a white liquid without any pain or illness. Is this liquid impure? What is the ruling if it gets on clothes, and will ablution become void?
The liquid released from the breasts is impure if it comes out due to a wound or illness, and it nullifies ablution if it flows onto an area which is obligatory to wash during ablution or ghusl. In the scenario of the questioner, the white liquid is not released due to an illness or wound, therefore ablution will not be nullified and the liquid is not impure.
