Translation: I have made the intention of Sunnah I’tikaf.

Whenever you enter a Masjid, upon remembering, make the intention of Nafl (supererogatory) I’tikaf because as long as you stay in the Masjid you will keep obtaining the reward of Nafl I’tikaf. In addition, eating and drinking (water etc.) will also become permissible for you in the Masjid.

Excellence of Salat-‘Alan-Nabi صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

It was a routine of Abu ‘Aroobah Al-Haraasi رَحْمَةُ اللهِ تَعَالٰی عَلَيْه that whenever anybody would read Ahadees in front of him then he [Abu ‘Aroobah Al-Haraasi] couldn’t help reciting Salat and Salam [upon the Beloved Nabi صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم] in a clearly audible voice. He used to say that one of the blessings of reading Hadees is that the reader gets the privilege of abundantly reciting Salat and Salam in the world and will get the blessings of Jannah in the Hereafter,  اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ. (Sa’adat-ud-Daarayn, pp. 198)
