In the early days, the Ameer of Ahl al-Sunnah endured a huge host of difficulties. Obstacles were laid in his path. Some even tried to prevent this effort to spread Islam - مَعَاذَ اللہ. Yet, he did not stop, and marched onwards with his gaze fixed upon the mercy of Allah Almighty.

He made long journeys, gave multiple speeches a day, and went from masjid to masjid, town to town, and city to city. If somebody died, he would ritually wash them with his own hands, shroud them, and offer their funeral prayer. He did this to support his fellow Muslims, help them in their sadness, and bring happiness to their hearts. His character and actions moved people in such a way, they too joined in this journey to work for Islam.

He steadfastly called towards goodness, and as a result of his relentless efforts, Muslims who once missed salah began praying again. In fact, they became imams of masjids. Those who looked at haram began lowering their gazes. People who disobeyed their parents began respectfully listening to their every word. Thieves repented from their ways and became upstanding members of society. Individuals who once burned in jealousy became thankful for what they had and began wanting good for others instead.

Film and music enthusiasts began reciting poetry in praise of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Those who were intoxicated in the sinful love of this world, instead began loving the sunnah of the Greatest Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

Chasers of worldly wealth instead began seeking ways to please Allah Almighty. Alcoholics repented and purified their lives. The non-practicing came and began spending their time in worship and spiritual striving. Those who once had no direction in life found a straight path to walk upon, and thousands of non-Muslims accepted Islam.
