Greatest Prophet’s صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم journey to Ṭāʾif, which is a widely-known event. The final Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم went to invite the people of Ṭāʾif to Islam, but sadly, rather than accepting, those wretched people threw stones at him.

The Ameer of Ahl al-Sunnah دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ cried heavily after mentioning this. Listen to the heart-rending words he mentioned at that time:

Those wretched youngsters began to attack the peace of my heart and mind, my master, the Greatest Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. They taunted him while clapping. One by one, they began throwing rocks. The thought of it breaks me; the blessed body of my Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was struck with them. If only I was alive then! Like a moth going around a flame, I would take all these stones with my own body.[1]

The Ameer of Ahl al-Sunnah then began to cry in love for the Greatest Prophetصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The Companion’s attachment to the beloved

Dear Islamic brothers! Let us look at another way the Companions         عَلَیْہِمُ الرِّضْوَان expressed their love for the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.

They wanted Allah’s Messenger صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم to be part of everything in their lives. Nothing made them happy or was worth celebrating to them, until the Greatest Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was involved in it.

Let us look at Umm Sulaym رَضِیَ اللهُ عَنْهَا, one of the female Companions. She was the mother of Anas b. Mālik رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ. When his younger brother ꜤAbdullāh رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ was born, she prevented anyone in the home from
