Book Name:Ala Hazrat Ka Shoq e Ilm e Deen

They are those in whose hearts Allah has imprinted faith, and He has helped them through a Spirit from Him.[1]

The great imam derived his date of birth from this verse.[2] According to numerology, the numerical value of this verse is 1272, which is the year the imam was born. This informs us that the themes of this verse are a summary of his life, and it is summarised in two ways:

1.   Faith is imprinted in his heart.

2.   He is given aid from the unseen.

When it began to rain

One day, an astrologer visited Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, and the imam said to him, “According to your calculations, when will it rain?” The astrologer started calculating, drew lines, watched the movement of the stars, and said, “It will not rain this month, but it will rain next month.” The imam responded, “Allah has control over everything. If He wills, it can rain today.”

The imam explained his words to the astrologer through a visual example by using a clock on the wall. He asked, “What is the time?” The astrologer answered, “It is 11:15.”

“How long will it take for the clock to reach 12:00?” the imam asked. The astrologer replied it would take 45 minutes.

He asked another question, “Can it be 12 o’clock before 45 minutes pass?” The astrologer answered that it can only be 12 o’clock once 45 minutes pass. Upon hearing this, the imam stood up, moved the hands of the clock to 12 o’clock, and said, “You claimed it could only be 12 o’clock after 45 minutes. How did this happen?” The astrologer replied,
