Book Name:Ala Hazrat Ka Shoq e Ilm e Deen

اَلِفْ. They are like two bodies with one heart. This is why اَلِفْ is read with لَامْ attached to it.[1]

اللہُ اَکْبَر Dear Islamic brothers! Four-year-old children today cannot read the Arabic alphabet correctly. Yet, Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه excelled in every aspect. At the age of four, he was acquiring knowledge that the elders of today cannot comprehend.

More examples of his passion for knowledge

O those who love Allah’s Messenger! We all know of the immense contributions Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه made in the field of Islamic scholarship when he was older, but his childhood was also a reflection of scholarly excellence. He had a passion for gaining knowledge from childhood, and he learnt from his father, Mawlānā Naqī ꜤAlī Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه. He memorised the rulings of religious matters that he heard from his father, and whenever he saw someone oppose these rulings, he would confidently correct them immediately.[2]

The imam said:

When my teacher taught me foundational sciences, I would close the book after reading the lesson once or twice. When I was tested on it, I read the lesson out perfectly, word for word. My teacher was astounded after seeing this every day. One day, he said to me, “Aḥmad, tell me, are you a human or jinn? It takes me time to teach the lesson, but it does not take you long to memorise it.”[3]
