Book Name:ALLAH Pak Ki Muhabbat Kaisay Hasil Ho?

Peace be upon you, O people of the graves! May Allah forgive us and you. You are our precursors, and we are to follow.[1]

*    Incense sticks should not be lit upon graves as this is bad etiquette and an ill omen (and the deceased is harmed by this). If it is placed to provide pleasant scent for visitors, it should be inserted in an empty place near the grave if available, as providing a pleasant scent is desirable.[2]

*    Lanterns and candles etc., should not be placed on top of graves, as this is fire and placing such upon a grave is harmful to the deceased. If the intention is to light the way for travellers at night, then the lantern or candle should be placed to one side of the grave in an empty place.

To learn thousands of sunnahs, you can purchase Maktabat al-Madinah’s publication of Bahār-i-Sharīat’s 16th part, the book Sunnahs and Manners, and two booklets of the Amir of Ahl al-Sunnah, entitled 101 Madani Pearls and 163 Madani Pearls.

An excellent means of learning the sunnah is to participate in Dawat-e-Islami’s Madani Qafilahs, alongside other devotees of Allah’s Messenger.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
