Most likely you have great attachment to the world, as a person speaks profusely of whatever he loves. If you did not have attachment to the world, you would never have mentioned it.^[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Love for the Quran leads to love for Allah

Dear Islamic brothers! Reciting the Quran, reflecting upon it, and understanding its meanings is a means of huge reward. It is an amazing way to attain and increase in love for Allah.

The scholar Sahl al-Tustarī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه explains:

The sign of love for Allah is to love the Quran. The sign of love for Allah and the Quran, is to love the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. The sign of love for the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is attachment to his sunnah.^[2]

We should all have true love for the Quran. Bear in mind, love centres around three points:

1.   To consider the words of the beloved better than all others.

2.   To think of the beloved’s gathering as best for him.

3.   To uphold the beloved’s satisfaction above everything else.^[3]
