softens the heart, makes you cry, and reminds you of the Hereafter.” ^[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Encouragement for Pious Deed 10

Dear Islamic brothers! To treat hard-heartedness, to gain passion for performing good deeds, and to attain a mindset of refraining from sin, affiliate yourselves with the Islamic environment of Dawat-e-Islami. Participate in the twelve religious activities of the zeyli halqa, act upon the 72 Pious Deeds booklet, and travel in the Madani Qafilahs. From the 72 Pious Deeds given to us by Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri دَامَـتْ بَـرَكَـاتُـهُـمُ الْـعَـالِـيَـهْ, pious deed number 10 states:

Have you protected your ears from sins today? For example, have you saved your ears from listening to backbiting, music, evil and obscene conversation, musical ringtones, etc.

If we act upon this good deed, we will protect ourselves from many sins. May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to act upon it.

اٰمِیْنْ بِجَاہِ خاتَمِ النَّبِیّٖن صلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہ ِوَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّمَ

Khuddām al-Masājid

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه Dawat-e-Islami is performing religious work in over 80 departments, one of which is the department of Khuddām al-Masājid. This department is responsible for building masjids where they are needed. The appointment of the masjid imams, muazzins, and orators, and the stipulation of their wages is dealt with by this department too. It currently builds over 600 masjids a year, which is approximately two a day. This is an amazing feat.
