Sadly, I have ruined my own son. I enrolled him in Dawat-e-Islami’s Madrassat al-Madina to memorising the Quran, but when he would share the Sunnas and Islamic teachings he learned there, our family mocked him. Eventually, his heart broke, and he stopped attending the madrassa.

Now, he has fallen into bad company and become wayward. By Allah’s grace, I’ve now come into the fold of Dawat-e-Islami’s religious environment, but I deeply regret my past actions. What will become of me?

Dear Islamic brothers! You have heard how parents who deprive their children of the blessings of good company end up facing immense regret and shame. If parents stay connected to a religious environment themselves and provide their children with proper Islamic upbringing, their children will not only bring peace and comfort to them in this world, but also become a means of salvation for them in the Hereafter.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! If rose petals are placed in water, the latter it absorbs the rose fragrance and colour. Similarly, a person who associates with righteous individuals gradually adopts their qualities.

There are blessed people who fear Allah, love the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, love the Companions, and love the  Ahl al-Bayt, and are living embodiments of the Sunna.

Being in their company inspires one to perform good deeds, makes one hate sin, and helps a person work for the Hereafter. Anybody who spends time with people like this will surely be successful in every field of life.
