passion for good deeds, and enjoy the company of righteous individuals, stay connected with the religious environment of Dawat-e-Islami.

Actively participate in the 12 Islamic Activities of your locality. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه By doing this, you will develop consistency in performing good deeds and will be inspired to avoid sins.

One of these 12 Islamic Activities is to fill in the Pious Deeds booklet, given to us by Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri. From the 72 pious deeds in this booklet, number 5 asks us: "Did you, today, after each of the five daily prayers, recite Ayat-ul-Kursi, Surah Al-Ikhlas, and Tasbeeh Fatimah at least once?"

You too can obtain this pocket-sized booklet from Maktabat al-Madina. Read it, try to implement it into your life, and you shall find yourself taking account of your daily actions.

Pearls of wisdom about good company

Dear Islamic brothers! Let us listen to some pearls of wisdom about the blessings of good company.

Let us begin with some hadith of the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم:

1.   اَلْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ اَحَبَّ – “A person will be with those they love.”^[1]

2.   اَلْمَرْءُ عَلیٰ دِیْنِ خَلِیْلِہِ فَلْیَنْظُرْ اَحَدُ کُمْ مَنْ یُّخَالِلُ “A person follows the religion and ways
