Faizan e Syeda Khatoon e Jannat

Book Name:Faizan e Syeda Khatoon e Jannat

I have intended to observe an obligatory fast of Ramadan today for Allah.[1]

*    Verbalising the intention in Arabic will only be counted if the person understands its meaning. Also, uttering the intention in any language is only beneficial if the heart also bears the intention at that time.[2]

*    One may also make the intention in his native language.[3]

*    If making the intention during the day, it is necessary to intend that you have been fasting since true dawn. If someone only intends the fast from the current time onwards, without considering it from the time of dawn, the fast will not be valid.[4]
