The greatest human after the prophets and messengers عَـلَـيْـهِمُ الـصَّلٰوةُ وَالـسَّـلَام is he who accepted Islam first and led 17 salah during the lifetime of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. He was the first person to collect the Quran, the first Caliph of Islam, and he is known by the title صدیقِ اکبر.

Abū Bakr al-iddīq رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ loved Islam dearly, which is why he gave so much of his wealth in the way of Allah. The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said regarding this, “No one’s wealth has benefited me as much as the wealth of Abū Bakr.”[1]

He رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ passed away on the 22nd of Jumādā al-Ākhira and is buried next to the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.
