Siddique Akbar Ka Kirdar o Farameen

Book Name:Siddique Akbar Ka Kirdar o Farameen

Translation from Kanz al-Iman: O believers! If you help the religion of Allah, Allah will help you and will make your foothold firm.[1], [2]

When it comes to the part of this verse which says ‘Allah will help you’, this means when a believer expends his efforts in spreading the religion of Allah, ease is made for him by Allah. Such a person is also granted steadfastness in this task, as well as determination and resolute fortitude.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

A short introduction to Sayyidunā Abū Bakr iddīq رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ

Dear Islamic brothers, before listening to more accounts and events from the life of the first caliph of Islam, Sayyidunā Abū Bakr Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ, let us hear a brief introduction to him.

The name of Amīr al-Muʾminīn Sayyidunā Abū Bakr Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْه is ʿAbdullah and his kunyat Abū Bakr. His titles include Ṣiddīq and ʿAtīq.  Ṣiddīq is someone who speaks the truth in abundance, and he was known by this title even during the age of ignorance, for he would always speak the truth. The meaning of ʿAtīq is ‘free’. Just as the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم gave him glad tidings: اَنْتَ عَتِیْقُ اللہِ مِنَ النَّارِ – “You are free from the fire of Hell by the grace of Allah Almighty.”[3] He was Qurayshi, and his family tree joins with that of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم by way of seven generations previously.

Sayyidunā Abū Bakr Ṣiddīq رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْه was born in Makkah two and a half years after ʿĀm al-Fīl (the Year of the Elephant: when King Abraha unsuccessfully attacked the Kaʿbah with an army of elephants).
