deceive anyone. We should not accuse anyone falsely or withhold repaying debt. We should not ruin anyone’s domestic life, spread bad opinions about them or hurt their feelings. We should not speak bad of someone behind their back or violate their honour by ridiculing them. We should not plot to place obstacles in the way of anyone’s progress. We should not spread others’ faults to tarnish their reputation amongst people. The way we treat people today is how we may be treated tomorrow.

Contrary to this, if we protect people’s honour, safeguard every trust and return it at its appointed time, speak the truth to all, respect everyone, have a good opinion of all and wish good for everyone, it is not far-fetched that everyone will start treating us in a similar fashion. Remember, just as evil actions unleash evil on a person, good actions lead to goodness, and one eventually attains the reward of virtuous actions.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Method of performing good actions daily

Dear Islamic brothers, there is no guarantee of life. Valuing these breaths, we should strive in bettering our Hereafter through righteous deeds. Who knows when these breaths will suddenly stop, leaving us without time to repent and therefore having to incur loss in the Hereafter. Hence, we should set a daily target of virtuous deeds so that we develop a habit of performing them. An easy way to achieve this is to fill in the Pious Deeds booklet with good intentions.
