upon the following sunan? (Miswak, entering and exiting in the house, sleeping, waking up, sitting while facing the Qiblah, etc.)” Through the blessings of acting upon this pious deed we will become steadfast in acting upon many sunan.

Remember that Satan will never want us to be successful in performing so many pious deeds throughout the day. He will make numerous attempts to prevent this by diverting our attention and influencing us to think, “I am too busy”, “When do I have so much time?” or “I will start tomorrow.” If we reflect on these pious deeds for a while without paying attention to Satanic whispers, we may be surprised to see that the deeds we deemed difficult to act upon are in fact very easy to perform.

This is because we do not need to perform all 72 pious deeds every day, rather the actions we need to act upon daily are of three levels. The first two levels comprise of 17 each, and the third comprises of 16. Apart from these, there are eight actions which are to be acted upon just once a week; six are such that they are to be performed just once every month; and eight are such that they are to be done just once every 12 months.

May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to fill in the Pious Deeds booklet and hand it in to the relevant responsible brother on a monthly basis.اٰمِیْنْ
