I make intention of Sunnah iꜤtikāf
Dear Islamic brothers! Whenever you enter a masjid, upon remembering, make the intention of voluntary iꜤtikāf because as long as you stay in the masjid you will keep obtaining the reward of voluntary iꜤtikāf.
Remember! According to the Shariah it is not allowed to eat, drink and sleep in the masjid, but if one makes the intention of iꜤtikāf, he will be allowed to do these acts in the masjid. It is also important that one should not make the intention of iꜤtikāf just to eat, drink or sleep. It should be made to earn reward. It is stated in Radd al-Muḥtār:
If someone wants to eat, drink or sleep in a masjid, he should make the intention of iꜤtikāf, perform dhikr and then do what he wants (i.e., eat, drink or sleep).
