Book Name:Aaqa Ka Safar e Meraj
O devotees of Messenger! On the night of MiꜤrāj, the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم travelled upon different conveyances and reached Lā Makān. as the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم states himself:
[On the night of MiꜤrāj] A white coloured animal was brought to me that was smaller than a mule and bigger than a donkey. It is called Burāq. It would place one step where the limit of its sight would be. I was made to ride upon it.[1]
Under this blessed Hadith, Ḥakīm al-Ummah, Mufti Aḥmad Yār Khan NaꜤīmī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه states:
Because it is as fast as lightning and is shining white, hence, it is called Burāq. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم rode upon it on MiꜤrāj and will also ride upon it on the Day of Judgement. Be mindful that every Prophet will have a Burāq in Paradise to ride upon, but the Burāq of the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم will be the most superior. This is the very same Burāq.
Ḥakīm al-Ummah, Mufti Aḥmad Yār Khan NaꜤīmī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه further states:
(The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated) “I did not ride upon it myself, but I was made to ride upon it.” Sayyidunā Jibrāˈīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم made the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم ride upon it. The stirrup was held by Sayyidunā Jibrāˈīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم, and Sayyidunā Mīkāˈīl عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم held the rein. With such majesty, the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was escorted. Be mindful that beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم riding upon the Burāq was to express his grandeur. Like the groom rides upon a horse and people
