These were the pens that angels use to write the daily commandments of Allah Almighty. Moreover, they inscribe the events of one year from al-Lawḥ -al-Maḥfūẓ (the Preserved Tablet) onto different scrolls. Then these scrolls are handed over to the relevant angels on the 15th night of ShaꜤbān.[1]
Special love for ShaꜤbān-ul-MuꜤaẓẓam
Dear Islamic brothers! The month of ShaꜤbān al-MuꜤaẓẓam indeed holds a lot of importance in regards to the Book of Deeds getting changed. The next Islamic month, i.e. the lunar month, is ShaꜤbān-ul-MuꜤaẓẓam. The beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would fast the entire month of ShaꜤbān. Out of all the months, is keeping the fasts of ShaꜤbān most beloved to you?”
Upon this, the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said, “Allah Almighty inscribes the name of every being who is to die this year. I prefer that
