ummah of Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.’
I said, ‘اَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ I am Muḥammad.’
The angels humbly said, ‘لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ It belongs to ꜤUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ.’
فَاَرَدْتُ اَنْ اَدْخُلَهُ فَاَنْظُرَ اِلَيْهِ،فَذَكَرْتُ غَيْرَتَكَ I wished to enter it to have a view of it but [O ꜤUmar] I thought of your sense of honour.”
Listening to this, Sayyidunā ꜤUmar رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ humbly said,
“بِاَبِیْ وَاُمِّیْ يَا رَسُولَ اللّٰہ،اَعَلَیْکَ
اَغَارُ O Messenger
of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ
عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم!
May my parents be sacrificed for you. Can I be jealous of you?”[1]
Sayyidunā Anas رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates that Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم stated:
During the journey of MiꜤrāj, I entered a place called ‘بَیْدَخ’ in Paradise, which had tents of pearls, green emeralds and red rubies.
The Paradise maidens said: اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیۡکَ یَارَسُوۡلَ الله “O Messenger of Allah Almighty! May peace be upon you.”
I asked, “O Jibrāˈīl! What kind of voice is this?”
He humbly replied, “These are the veiled Paradise maidens in the tents. They sought permission from Allah Almighty to present salām upon you. Allah Almighty gave them the permission. Upon
