building worldly success and instead focus on seeking the Hereafter with whatever Allah Almighty has blessed us with.

صَلُّوا عَلَی الْحَبِیْب!           صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلٰی مُحَمَّد

(4) Fourth counsel to Qārūn

Dear Islamic brothers! The righteous believers among the Israelites gave Qārūn the fourth piece of advice:

وَ اَحۡسِنۡ کَمَاۤ  اَحۡسَنَ اللّٰہُ  اِلَیۡکَ

and do good just as Allah has bestowed goodness upon you.[1]

Meaning: Just as Allah Almighty has shown kindness to you, you should show generosity by giving in charity, spending your wealth on righteous deeds, comforting the hearts of the poor and needy, and alleviating the hunger of the destitute. Be a source of kindness and compassion to others!

We are not owners of wealth, but trustees

Dear Islamic brothers, this is an important reminder. Allah Almighty has bestowed wealth upon us, and it is incumbent upon us to spend it in the way of Allah Almighty and fulfil its rights. Always remember, we are not the owners of this wealth; we are merely its trustees.

The Crown of the Saints, Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَۃُ اللہِ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ said:

اَنْتُمْ وُکَلَاءُ عَلٰی ہٰذِہِ الْاَمْوَال

Translation: "You are trustees over this wealth."[2]
