Book Name:Qaroon Ko Naseehat

وَ لَا تَبۡغِ الۡفَسَادَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ  لَا یُحِبُّ الۡمُفۡسِدِیۡنَ (۷۷)

and do not seek discord in the land; Allah does not like those who spread discord.”[1]

This is also an important piece of advice. It means, O Qārūn! Allah Almighty has granted you wealth and riches, and the Most Generous Lord has bestowed such favours upon you; so, do not commit sins. Do not use these blessings in disobedience to Allah Almighty and do not spread corruption on earth!

The consequences of spending wealth on sins

Dear Islamic brothers! This shows that using wealth for sinful activities leads to great destruction. Indeed, wealth is a blessing, and one will be questioned about this on the Day of Judgment. A hadith states:

On the Day of Judgment, a person will not be able to move his feet until he has answered five questions:

1. How did you spend your life?

2. How did you spend your youth?

3. From where did you earn your wealth?

4. Where did you spend it?

5. How much did you act upon the knowledge you acquired?[2]

Dear Islamic brothers! This is a moment for deep reflection. Alas, heedlessness has become widespread today. Whether wealth is earned through a lawful means or prohibited sources, only few people
