* boasted out of vanity.

As a result, what was his fate? This evil individual, along with his treasures, was swallowed by the earth.

Dear Islamic brothers, the following is a beautiful point! This phrase from the noble Quran should be engraved on our hearts:

اَلْوَلَایَةُ لِلّٰهِ الْحَقِّؕ

All authority, power, and control belong solely to Allah.

What do we boast about? How can we be proud? What do we have to be arrogant about? What truly belongs to us?

اَلْوَلَایَةُ لِلّٰهِ الْحَقِّؕ

All authority, power, and control belong solely to Allah.

Therefore, never be boastful; do not be arrogant; do not show off. If Allah Almighty has granted you wealth, it is His gift. If He has kept someone poor, it is His distribution. So, keep your head bowed in humility. In the blessed Hadith, it is stated:

مَنْ تَوَاضَعَ لِلّٰہِ رَفَعَہُ اللہ

Translate: "Whoever humbles himself for Allah, Allah elevates him."^[1]

May Allah Almighty protect us from falling into pride and arrogance regarding wealth, a good voice, good manners, intelligence, and other blessings. May He grant us the ability to always avoid self-love and remain humble.
