From amongst the 72 good deeds compiled by Mawlana Ilyas Attar al-Qadiri in this booklet, Pious Deed 22 is:

Did you refrain today from unnecessarily looking outside through the windows of your house (designed for viewing outside) or peeking into someone else's house through their doors or windows?

This good deed safeguards the rights of neighbours and fellow Muslims, and its blessings help us avoid many sins. Let’s practice these good deeds ourselves and encourage others to do the same.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! Let us listen to another remarkable story from the life of Lady Fāṭimah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا which highlights her asceticism, generosity, and kindness.

Once, Imam Ḥasan and Imam Ḥusayn رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهُمَا became ill. Sayyidunā ꜤAlī, Lady Fāṭimah, and their servant Fiḍḍah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهُم vowed to keep three fasts, hoping for Allah Almighty to heal them as a result.

On the first day, Sayyidunā ꜤAlī brought a small amount of barley to make bread for ifṭār. Lady Fāṭimah رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا baked the bread, and as they prepared to break their fast at sunset, a needy person knocked on the
