Fragrant words

Not everyone can be pleased

If you make a great effort so that everyone becomes pleased with you, even then this will not happen. Hence, make your action and intention sincere for the sake of Allah Almighty.

(Saying of Sayyiduna Imam Shaafi’i رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه) (Tahzeeb-ul-Asma wal-Lughaat, vol. 1, p. 75)

A believer’s fear and hope

If a believer’s fear and hope were to be weighed, they would be the same.

(Saying of Sayyiduna Saabit Bunaani رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه) (Husn-ut-Tanabbuh, vol. 5, p. 30)

The excellence of beauty

Sayyiduna Nuh عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام was the most beautiful person of his time. He عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام used to keep a veil over his face. The believers had to endure hunger whilst travelling in the ark. When Sayyiduna Nuh عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلَام would reveal his face to them, their hunger would dissipate.

(Saying of Sayyiduna Wahb Bin Munabbih رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه) (Hilya-tul-Awliya, vol. 4, p. 69)

Memorisation of the Quran has been made easy

In the previous nations, memorising the book of Allah was the speciality of the Prophets عَـلَـيْهِمُ السَّلَام. Allah Almighty has made memorising the Quran easy for this Ummah; as children as young as 10 years become Hafiz. (Fatawa Razawiyyah, vol. 5, p. 67)

Respect and reverence are dependent upon norms

Even if the Glorious Quran is wrapped in 10 cloths, Muslims would certainly consider it a bad thing and an act of disrespect to take it into the bathroom and disrespectful based on their norms. Respect and disrespect are dependent upon norms. (Fatawa Razawiyyah, vol. 4, p. 608)

For whom is it Sunnah to wear a ring?

It is better to leave out wearing a ring when there is no need to use it as a stamp; and to wear a ring for the purpose of using it as a stamp is not only permissible, but a Sunnah. (Fatawa Razawiyyah, vol. 22, p. 141)

Write the date in what you write, etc.
