entered Paradise, its stones were made of pearls and its soil of Musk[1]; then I saw four rivers; the first river was of water which does not change; the second was of milk, the taste of which does not change; the third was a river of pure wine which is only enjoyable (non-intoxicating) for those who drink it, and the fourth was a river of clear and pure honey. The pomegranates of Paradise were like large buckets in size and the birds were like camels [in size]. Therein, Allah Almighty has prepared such bounties for his pious bondsmen which no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard nor has any thought of them crossed the mind.[2]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Arrival at the river of Kawsar

During his visit to Paradise, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم approached a river, which had tents made of hollow pearls on its edges and its soil was pure Musk. He صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم asked Sayyiduna Jibraeel  عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم, ‘What is this, O Jibraeel?’ Sayyiduna Jibraeel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم replied, ‘This is Kawsar, which Your Lord has bestowed upon you.’[3]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Three rivers

On the blessed night of Mi’raaj, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم saw someone sitting on a chair near the doors of Paradise, his hair was combed, and sitting by him there were some people with bright faces and some with darkened faces. Those with darkened faces took a bath
