Book Name:Meraj kay Jannati Mushahidat

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ! How great is the virtue of those give the Adhan and lead the people in prayer; Allah Almighty has prepared tents made of pearls for them. May Allah Almighty grant us the ability to do this too. Let us listen to 2 sayings of the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم regarding this:

1.   The one who calls the Adhan is like a martyr who is covered in blood, and when he dies, his body will not become infested with insects in the grave.[1]

2.   Whosoever calls the Adhan for the five prayers, upon the basis of faith and with the intention of gaining reward, all of his previous sins will be forgiven, and whosoever leads his companions in the five prayers, all of his previous sins will be forgiven.[2]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

A man hidden in light

During the journey on the Night of Mi’raaj, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم passed by a man hidden in the light of the Throne (‘Arsh). He صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said: “Who is this? Is it an Angel?” It was said: “No.” “Is it a Prophet?” Again, the answer was in the negative. He صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم asked: “Then who is this?” It was said: “This is the man whose tongue would remain in the constant remembrance of Allah Almighty in the world. His heart remained attached to the Masajid and he was never the cause of his parents being spoken ill of or being disrespected.”[3]

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ! Form this narration, we come to know that the following three actions are beloved to Allah Almighty: remembering Allah Almighty in abundance, loving the Masajid and not being a cause of harm for your
