Book Name:Meraj kay Jannati Mushahidat

about them, Sayyiduna Jibraeel عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم said: ‘These are for those who suppressed their anger and those who pardoned and excused the people, and Allah Almighty likes those who favour others.’[1]

Dear Islamic brothers! Anger is something beyond one’s control, and it is an overflowing emotion of the Nafs which drives a person to retaliate and it brings about a desire to take revenge in a person’s heart. In such a situation, if a person controls himself and adopts forgiveness and mercy, there are many virtues for him, as narrated in many blessed Ahadith. One of these virtues has just been mentioned. Let us now hear two more sayings of the Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم in this regard:

1.   Whosoever controlled his anger despite being able to implement it, Allah Almighty will call him in front of the entire creation on the Day of Judgement, and grant him the choice to pick any Hoor (Heavenly maiden) he desires.[2]

2.   The best people of my nation are those who immediately hold back whenever they become angry. [3]

Dome-shaped tents made of Pearls

The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم saw dome-shaped tents made of pearls in Paradise that were on top of soil of musk. Who is this for?” He عَـلَيْـهِ الـسَّـلاَم replied: “O Muhammad صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! This is for the Imams and Muezzineen [the ones who announce the call to prayer] of your nation.”[4]
