TV, the evils of the internet, improper use of social media, parties involving dancing and an adverse home environment can all lead to causing evil and egotistic traits to intensify within a child to such an extent that it becomes extremely difficult to be hopeful of any noble character from them. صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                                                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The footsteps of Sayyiduna Bilal رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ

Whilst travelling through Paradise, the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم heard the sound of someone’s footsteps, and was told that this was Sayyiduna Bilal رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ. ^[1]

So lofty is the rank of Sayyiduna Bilal Habashi رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ, the Muezzin of the Messenger, that the Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم heard his footsteps in Paradise! Let us hear how he رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ acquired this rank. Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ narrates that, (once) at the time of Fajr, the Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said to Sayyiduna Bilal رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ: “O Bilal, tell me of that action which you performed in Islam that you have the greatest hope of reward for, because I heard the sound of your footsteps in front of me in Paradise.” He رَضِىَ اللّٰهُ عَـنْهُ replied: “According to me, I have not carried out any action for which I hope to get any benefit, except
