O devotees of the Messenger! You have heard how highly ranked our Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه is, and how pure his actions were. We should make a firm intention to follow in his footsteps and draw inspiration from his blessed life. We should strive to emulate his actions, as this will benefit our Hereafter to an unimaginable extent.

May Allah grant us the ability to truly follow in the footsteps of Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه.

  اٰمِیْن بِجَاہِ النَّبِیِّ الْاَمِیْن صلَّی اللہ علیہ واٰلہٖ وسلَّم 

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Ocean of knowledge

Dear Islamic brothers! Along with being a great wali of Allah and towering spiritual figure, Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was an ocean of Islamic knowledge, an accomplished imam and expert in issuing rulings. Leading scholars of his time would come to attain the blessings of the shaykh and sit in his company.

Scholarly services of ʿAllāmah ibn Jawzī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه

ʿAllāmah ibn Jawzī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was a leading scholar and imam of his time. He penned remarkable works on Quran, hadith, jurisprudence, geography, medicine, history, Quranic commentary, astronomy, mathematics, lexicology, grammar, syntax and a host of other topics. His total number of authored books amounts to over 300, many of which span numerous volumes.^[1]

Ibn Qudāmah al-Ḥanbalī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه once said in regards to ibn Jawzī:
