3. Glad tidings given by Sayyidunā asan Bari رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه

Sayyidunā Ḥasan Baṣri رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه mentioned in detail; every single saint from his time up until the era of Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه, all foretold of the great shaykh’s birth and Arrival.[1]

4. Glad tidings given by Shaykh Abū Bakr Huwār رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه

Shaykh Abū Bakr b. Huwār رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه once said to his disciples:

Very soon a non-Arab from Iraq, who will have an elevated rank in the sight of Allah and amongst the people, will take up residence in Baghdad. His name shall be ʿAbd al-Qādir.

He will announce ‘قَدَمِیْ ھٰذِہٖ عَلٰی رَقَبَۃِ کُلِّ وَلِیِّ اللّٰہِ’ (This foot of mine is upon the necks of all saints), and every saint of his time shall be obedient to him.[2]

 

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه was a saint from birth. Whilst still in his mother’s womb, whenever she sneezed and said ‘اَلْحَمْدُلِلّٰہ’, he would reply with ‘یَرْحَمُکِ اللّٰہُ’. He was born at dawn on the 1st of Ramadan, and could be heard reciting the name of Allah straight away.[3]

 

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Disinterest in fun and games

Dear Islamic brothers! Children commonly are inclined towards fun and games, running as far from studies as they can! When studying the
