صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! Look how much kindness and affection Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه showed students of sacred knowledge; sending food for them from his own home. Taking inspiration from this, we should also try our best to look after students of sacred knowledge, especially students who may be less fortunate.
For example, those who can do so should buy Islamic books, clothes and provide residence for them. Do this all for the sake of Allah, and make as many good intentions as you can. You shall be included in the list of those who worked for Islam. We hope in the mercy of Allah, that this deed will earn us His pleasure and lead to us being forgiven.
In order to understand this further, just think for a moment: Look at how much you would want your own children to eat the best of foods and wear the best of clothes. Think of how much you work to save them from the cold; you could not bear them feeling chilly for even a moment. Similarly, students gaining knowledge of Islam also have basic necessities that need fulfilling. Are they also not in need of food, clothes and staying warm in the cold?
اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه! Dawat-e-Islami has established over 600 institutes of Islamic education across the world, with over 50,000 students currently enrolled. It is a wholehearted request for you to help Dawat-e-Islami through your obligatory and voluntary donations. اِنْ شَــآءَالـلّٰـه This help of yours will go a huge way in bettering your matters in the grave and the Hereafter.
