pleased with him. It will be said to the reciter of the Quran, “Recite the Quran and ascend through the ranks of Paradise.” For every verse he recites, he will be given one bounty.^[1]

2.   He who listens to the Quran will be protected from worldly calamities, and he who recites it will be protected from calamities in the hereafter. Listening to one verse of the Quran is greater than a treasure of gold. Reciting one verse of the Quran is greater than everything beneath the ʿArsh of Allah.^[2]

Remember! Ramaḍān is the month in which the Quran was revealed. It is a matter of great deprivation if we are unable to recite it in this blessed month. The reward of a nafl deed is equivalent to performing a farḍ, and the reward of a farḍ is increased 70 times over. Make use of these precious moments and recite the Quran every day in the month it was revealed. You should also set a specific time for this everyday.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب    صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers! People ultimately develop a habit of reciting the Quran during this month, and some fortunate individuals are able to recite the entire Quran more than once. This is indeed a matter of great fortune. It is even better, however, if we understand the Quran as we recite it.
