Madani pearls of wisdom regarding Mawlid processions

O those who love Allah’s Messenger! Tomorrow is the 12th of RabīꜤ al-Awwal, the day the Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was born.

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه The Companions showed happiness upon this occasion in a way matching the context of their time. They thanked Allah for this immense bounty. Even our Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم himself celebrated this occasion, not once a year, but once a week! He did this by fasting every Monday, as this was the day he was born.

We too will celebrate the birth of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. ان شآء اللہ - We will wear new clothes and participate in Mawlid processions. We will let the world know that the greatest of creation was born on this day, and we are happy from the depths of our souls! We will leave nothing behind in thanking Allah for this huge blessing!

Participate in the Mawlid processions

Dear Islamic brothers! We will wholeheartedly take part in Mawlid processions. We will decorate our cars, modes of transport and even ourselves, and prepare greatly for this joyous occasion. We must also ensure to show great decorum and discipline as we march.

On the 12th of RabīꜤ al-Awwal, from ẓuhr to ʿaṣr, all responsible brothers and especially those involved with Dawat-e-Islami’s departments must ensure to take part from beginning to end.
