nor have I seen anyone who lives more excellently. I have not seen anybody like him. [1]

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ A lesson was being delivered about Islam, yet the Companions were thinking about nothing but the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. Whenever he was mentioned before them, their eyes filled with tears, and they became totally engrossed in thoughts of him.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The Companions contemplating the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم

Dear Islamic brothers! This highlights how whenever the Companions were distant from the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, they would find peace in visualising his blessed face, his luminous beauty, and his sacred actions.

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ How beautiful is this action! If only we had the ability to do this. When you are alone, close your eyes and visualise the Green Dome of the Prophet’s masjid, and the golden gates of his sanctified resting place. If Allah blesses you with this honour, then read about the physical description of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم and envision this miraculous sight. From time to time, think of his beauty, his appearance, his clothing, how he would move, what he would do, his miracles and his character.

Close your eyes, lower your head, and lose yourself in thoughts of him. You will find unimaginable peace in this, and it will strengthen your faith.

Mentioning the Prophet’s excellences

سُبْحٰنَ اللہ سُبْحٰنَ اللہ The Companions of Allah’s Messenger hold exceedingly high ranks. They carried out the important task of teaching others how to offer salah, perform wuḍū, give zakat, and practice Islam.
