The excellences of sending ṣalāt upon the Prophet

The final Prophet of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم said:

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ وَکَّلَ بِقَبْرِیْ مَلَکًااَعْطَاہُ اَسْمَاعَ الْخَلَائِقِ فَلَا یُصَلِّیْ عَلَیَّ اَحَدٌ اِلٰی یَوْمِ الْقِیَامَۃِ اِلَّا اَبْلَغَنِیْ بِاِسْمِہٖ وَاِسْمِ اَبِیْہ  ِہذَا فُلانُ بْنُ فُلانٍ قَدْ صَلّٰی عَلَیْکَ

Allah has indeed stationed an angel at my grave, who was given power to hear all of creation. Until the Day of Judgement, there is none who sends ṣalāt upon me except it (the angel) informs me of his name and his father’s name ˹by saying˺ “So-and-so, son of so-and-so, has sent ṣalāt upon you.”^[1]

Dear Islamic brothers! اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه Reciting ṣalāt upon the Prophet is a priceless blessing. Because of it, difficulties are eased, poverty turns into prosperity, sins are forgiven, and a person is showered in mercy.

Another amazing benefit of this wondrous action is the fact your ṣalāt is presented to Allah’s Messenger صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم. The reciter of ṣalāt comes into his merciful gaze. If the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم wishes, he can also come into their dreams and bless them with a vision of himself.

May Allah grant us the ability to send an abundance of ṣalāt upon the Prophet! By the blessings of this, may we see him in our dreams.  

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

The beloved Prophetصَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم   has stated: اَفْضَلُ الْعَمَلِ اَلنِّيَّۃُ الصَّادِقَۃُ, “A truthful intention is the best action.”^[2] O those who love Allah’s Messenger! Make good intentions before every action, as this can be a
