So, express your love for the beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم by waving flags, lowering your heads in humility, passionately chant slogans of مرحبا یا مصطفیٰ, recite poetry in praise of him, and participate from beginning to end.

The importance of salah

Dear Islamic brothers! We are a people who celebrate the Mawlid, as well as people who offer the salah consistently.

Offering salah makes our beloved Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم happy, so ensure to not miss any of them. Even throughout the busy day of the Mawlid, be wary of time and offer salah in congregation. May it not be so that you miss any salah whilst in the Mawlid procession.

Salah is the first obligation upon Muslims. It enlightens the dark grave and protects from punishment in the grave. It is our shade from the heat on the Day of Judgement. It provides ease when crossing the Bridge of Ṣirāṭ. It is a form of protection from Hell, as well as a means of attaining mercy and forgiveness. It leads to the acceptance of duꜤā and protects from illnesses. It grants relief to the body, brings blessings in our rizq, and protects from evil and immorality.[1]

It is also a sublime way of becoming closer to Allah and His Messenger. May Allah grant us ability to pray five times a day, and may He grant us true love of the Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم.
