صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                 صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

O those who love Allah’s Messenger! Tonight is an especially sacred, auspicious, and joyous occasion. On this night, the stars incline towards the Earth, processions of angels come from the skies, whilst happiness and celebration are everywhere you look. On this night, the Kaʿbah lowered itself in respect and the Archangel Jibril عَلَیْہِ السَّلَام affixed a flag upon it.

On this night arrived the most splendid and auspicious personality of all; he whose arrival approximately 124,000 prophets عَـلَـيْهِمُ السَّلَام came to give good news of. On this night, he who is known from the earth to the heavens to the ʿArsh was born. On this night, he who came to inform mankind about Allah and guide the wayward to the straight path arrived.
