IT Department

With continuous advancement and progress, people have now reached a point where computers and the Internet play a major role in their lives. In today’s day and age, information technology has some impact on every walk of life. الحمد للہ To spread the message of Islam throughout the world and rectify the Ummah, the religious movement of Dawat-e-Islami has established various departments. One of these is known as the IT Department. The purpose of this is to utilise information technology to spread the teachings of Islam across the globe.

Some notable achievements of the IT Department include making Fatāwā Razawiyyah and Kanz al-Īmān available in the form of software, both of which are renowned works of the Reviver of Islam, the Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah, Imam Aḥmad Razā Khān رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه. With the help of the Timings Department, they have developed a mobile application by the name of “Prayer Times”, which provides the correct prayer timings for more than 2.7 million locations. There is also the al-Madina-tul-Ilmiyyah software, which can be used to conveniently access more than 200 books.
