Koshish Kamyabi Ki Kunji Hai

Book Name:Koshish Kamyabi Ki Kunji Hai

Dear Islamic brothers, you just heard how Imam Abū Ḥanīfah رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه advised one of his leading students, Imām Abū Yūsuf رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, to avoid laziness, as it is a major calamity and misfortune. It causes a person to be deprived of success and prevents him from achieving his goals. Due to his continuous struggle, Imām Abū Yūsuf رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه became a great scholar, mufti, and judge of his era. Remember that laziness is a major obstacle on the path to success; it is something condemnable which leads to countless other evils.

Laziness gives rise to all kinds of diseases and calamities, so avoid it at all costs. Rather, one should remain busy in working towards their worldly and religious goals with full determination. A hard-working person is loved by everyone, and a lazy individual is snubbed by everyone. A lazy person can neither do worldly work nor religious work. For our encouragement and guidance, the beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would supplicate:

اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَعُوْذُبِکَ مِنَ الْکَسْلِ

“O Allah Almighty, I seek refuge in You from laziness.”[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
