Book Name:Achy Amaal Ki Barkatein

b. ꜤAmmār رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه announced, “Whoever gives him four dirhams, I will make four duās for him.” At that time, a slave was passing by. When he heard the merciful voice of an accomplished saint, he stopped walking. He had four dirhams, which he gave to the petitioner.

Sayyidunā Manṣūr b. ꜤAmmār رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه asked, “Inform me which four duās you would like me to make for you?”

He replied, “That I be freed from slavery; I am recompensed for these coins; both my master and I are blessed with repentance; and that me, my master, yourself and all the attendees are forgiven.”

Sayyidunā Manṣūr b. ꜤAmmār رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه raised his hands and made duā. Subsequently, the slave arrived late to his master. His master asked the reason for his lateness, so he related the account.

His master asked, “What was the first duā?”

The slave replied, “I asked that I am freed from slavery.”

When he said this, his master spontaneously said, “Go, you are free from slavery,”

He asked, “What was the second duā you made?”

The slave responded, “That I receive a good replacement for the four dirhams that I gave.”

His master said, “I have given you 4,000 dirhams in exchange for those four.”

He enquired, “What was the third duā?”

The slave answered, “That my master and I are granted the ability to repent.”

Hearing this, his master began seeking forgiveness from Allah Almighty and said, “I repent to Allah Almighty from all my sins.”
