Book Name:Mohabbat e Auliya Ke Fazail
Now bear in mind; the Companions رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهُم offered salah, recited the noble Quran, fasted, and did good deed after good deed. Yet, this Companion رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ did not rely on any of his actions and instead humbly said, لَا شَیْءَ "Nothing." In other words, “O Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم! I have prepared nothing! I have performed good deeds but it is totally up to Allah Almighty whether He accepts them or not!”
The Companion رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ then exclaimed, اِلّا اَنِّی اُحِبُّ اللہَ وَرَسُوْلَہٗ - Except, I love Allah Almighty and His Messenger.”
The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم replied, اَنْتَ مَعَ مَنْ اَحْبَبْتَ – “You shall be with who you love.”[1]
سُـبْحٰـنَ الـلّٰــه This blessed hadith informs us that on the Day of Judgment, a person will be with those they loved in this world. Now think! How fortunate are those people who love Ghawth al-Aʿẓam رَضِىَ اللهُ عَـنْهُ and every other saint, who organise gatherings commemorating the saints, who convey rewards to them, who mention them, who celebrate their qualities, who rejoice upon hearing their names, who feel happiness upon reading their biographies, and who experience a wave of joy upon hearing about them?
Today, in this world, these people love the saints. Tomorrow, on the Day of Judgement, the Lord of the Universe will place them with those saints. They will be gathered with them, and if Allah Almighty wills, they will follow them into Paradise.
