blessings of Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, all of this continues until now.[1]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Dear Islamic brothers, these are the blessings of Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī’s presence. We must be thinking, ‘How did Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه attained such a high rank?’ Know that Allah Almighty grants His true love to those who spend their lives in obedience to Allah Almighty and blesses them with many marvels. Our Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه spent every moment of his life in adherence to Islamic law.

Status of Shaykh Abd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه

*    He fulfilled the obligatory and necessary acts of worship.

*    He kept a fast from the time he was born.

*    When he began his official Islamic education at the age of four or five, after reciting اَعُوْذُبِاللہِ مِنَ الشَّیْطٰنِ الرَّجِیْم and بِسْمِ اللہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم, he recited 18 juzˈ of the holy Quran from memory and stated, “My mother had also memorised this much and I memorised it by listening to her recite.”[2]

*    For forty years, he offered Fajr prayer with the ablution of ꜤIshāˈ.

*    Whenever he would exit the state of ablution, he would renew his ablution at once and offer two units of voluntary prayer.[3]

*    He would offer a thousand units of voluntary prayer every day.[4]
