But look at the immense knowledge and intelligence of Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه! He began commenting on one of the verses recited by the qārī, and not only did he give one or two exegeses, but forty, as well as mentioning the name of each exegete. He gave such insightful commentaries that even a major scholar and imam of his time, ꜤAllāmah ꜤAbd al-Raḥmān b. al-Jawzī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه was left astonished.

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                     صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

O devotees of Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه! The above-mentioned account displays the deep love Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه had for the noble Quran, because despite being an ocean of knowledge, he read many commentaries of the holy Quran and mentioned them. He would engage in abundant worship and recitation of the noble Quran. For 15 years, he would recite the entire noble Quran every night.^[1]

We, the devotees of Shaykh ꜤAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَـلَيْه, should reflect upon our own state. Memorisation aside, do we even know how to recite the noble Quran by looking? If we do not know how to drive a car, we take lessons to learn. We are willing to pay large fees for this and try to pass as quickly as possible. Similarly, there was a time when did not know how to use a mobile phone, but we learned how to operate it by asking people, and we did not feel any shame in doing so.

Before starting a business, we consult with many experienced people so that we do not face a loss in the business. We do plenty of research beforehand, looking at the advantages and disadvantages.
