*    Hearing the reply, the one who sneezed should say: یَغْفِرُ اللہُ لَنَا وَلَکُمْ  (may Allah forgive us and you) or he should say: یَھْدِیْکُمُ اللہُ وَیُصْلِحُ بَالَکُمْ (may Allah guide you and rectify your affairs.)[2]

صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب                                            صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلٰى مُحَمَّد

Supplication to protect oneself from hypocrisy     

In accordance with the schedule of Dawat-e-Islami’s Sunnah-inspired weekly gathering, the supplication to protect oneself from hypocrisy will be taught. It is as follows:

اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَعُوْذُ بِکَ مِنَ الشِّقَاقِ وَ النِّفَاقِ وَ سُوْ ءِ الْاَخْلَاقِ

O Allah I seek refuge with you from opposition, hypocrisy and evil character. [3]

Method of collective accountability (72 pious deeds)

The Prophet صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has said, “Pondering [over the Hereafter] for a moment is better than 60 years of worship.”[4]

Let’s make good intentions before filling in the Pious Deeds booklet:

1.  To please Allah, I will hold myself to account through the Pious Deeds booklet and encourage others to do the same.

2.   I will praise (i.e. thank) Allah Almighty for the pious deeds which I practised.

3.   I will regret not acting upon the pious deeds I missed out on and will
